Our union office, South County Teachers United, will be open for canvassing EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY from 8-`12 to walk Chula Vista and speak to voters about the importance of passing Prop 3 and electing friendly school-board candidates.

The November 2026 ballot will include Prop. 3, The California Children’s Education and Health Care Protection Act of 2026. Passing Prop. 3 is crucial to protect existing funding — almost $15 billion annually — for our schools and students.

We have the power to protect this critical funding for our communities in November. For nearly 15 years, tax rates paid by the top 2% have delivered $120 billion for smaller class sizes, school lunches, mental health counselors, and the Medi-Cal coverage millions of families rely on, all with no new taxes on working Californians. This is all thanks to voters passing Props 30 and 55. Prop. 3 keeps that funding in place so our students and families don’t lose it.

Whether you're in your first few years as a site representative or simply looking for a refresher, this session is for you. You'll gain practical knowledge, essential tools, and proven strategies to help you build confidence, strengthen your skills, and succeed in your role from day one.
