Welcome back to the 25-26 school year!

Our newly revised CVE-CVESD contract is now available on our website HERE. 

Please be sure to acquaint yourself with new language in articles:
  • Article 8: Hours
    • Split prep days 1/2 day and 1/2 day- no full training days
    • Early release (15 min) for all TK-K classes
    • Dual Immersion Collab time
  • Article 13: PAR
    • Rebranding involuntary vs. voluntary PAR
    • Mentoring and coaching for every stage of your career!
    • Now renamed "Teachers Supporting Teachers"
  • Article 14: Safety
    • Emergency situation language
    • 3 days PNL in case of home loss
    • Classroom visits and observation guidelines
    • Discipline procedure and flow chart (Available in Appendix)
  • Article 33: Transfer
    • Language for layoff procedure
    • Language regarding probationary employee transfer
  • Article 51: Health
    • For the first time ever, a 3-tier structure for health insurance benefits:
      • District Contribution max- Single $15,500
      • District Contribution max- 2 party plan $16,100
      • District Contribution max- Family plan $16,700
  • MOU: Temporary Teachers
    • Hiring language through June 30, before external applicants
