CVE's internal committees guide and direct the work of Chula Vista Educators. Committee Chairs make reports and recommendations to the Executive Board and then Representative Council for approval. Committee members are appointed by the President and approved by Executive Board.

2025-2026 Consultation Committees

CVE has contractually guaranteed rights to consult with the District. The purpose of consultation meetings is to provide CVE with a mechanism to consult on any topics that affect the classrooms, including, but not limited to: educational objectives, selecting curriculum, assessments, report cards, professional development, and technology in the classroom. Each consultation committee has a lead who provides a monthly report to our Vice President, who then presents the entire Consultation report to Executive Board, Representative Council and general membership. District Consultation consults over all topics; subcommittees are role or subject-specific consultation groups.
