As a member of CVE, you have the benefit of affiliation with the following local, state and national organizations:
CTA State Council Delegates
CVE members elect three delegates and three alternates to the State Council of Education, CTA’s highest governing body. Meeting four times a year, State Council sets policy for the organization, adopts the budget, determines dues, recommends expenditures to the board, elects the executive officers and other members of the board of directors and performs other similar duties.

SD Labor Council Representatives
Chula Vista Educators has three members representing our association on the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council. Its mission is to collectively fight to improve the lives of working people by standing together and fighting for each other. Members come from a broad array of sectors and professions across the San Diego and Imperial counties.

SD Service Center Council Representatives
Chula Vista Educators has seven members representing our association on the CTA-San Diego Service Center Council. Our elected State Council Delegates are automatically included as part of our seven representatives. The SDSCC functions as a liaison for the 49 local chapters affiliated with the California Teachers Association/National Education Association.
